Grace and Peace to you in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

It is my great privilege and joy to welcome you on behalf of the Christian Service Society of the Bengal-Orissa-Bihar (Jharkhand) Baptist Convention (CSS–BOBBC).

The Christian Service Society is a faith-based, ecumenical ministry committed to sharing the love of Christ through holistic mission and compassionate service. Inspired by the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ—"Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people" (Matthew 4:23)—we seek to proclaim the Gospel while responding to the spiritual, social, educational, and humanitarian needs of communities across West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, and other parts of India.

For many years, our churches, pastors, volunteers, and mission partners have faithfully served people living in rural, remote, and underserved areas. Through Christian witness and practical service, we strive to promote education, community development, healthcare, disaster relief, leadership development, and social welfare, reflecting Christ's compassion in both word and deed.

As Chairman, I believe that our mission is strengthened through unity and partnership. We value meaningful collaboration with churches, Christian organisations, ecumenical bodies, government agencies, development partners, and all people of goodwill who share a commitment to serving humanity with dignity, integrity, and compassion. Working together enables us to reach more lives and create lasting, positive change for future generations.

I warmly invite you to partner with us through your prayers, fellowship, encouragement, and support. Together, we can be faithful instruments of God's love, bringing hope to the discouraged, comfort to those in need, and opportunities for sustainable transformation in the communities we serve.
